2. Self Screening:
Anyone who enters the studio (instructors, caregivers, and children) must be screened and show no signs of illness, not have a temperature above 100.4, and have no known exposure to anyone with a suspected or confirmed case of Covid-19.
3. On the Day of Your Program:
To enter, wait until the GREEN GO SIGN has been posted on the door. If a RED STOP SIGN is on the door, wait in your car or spaced outside the studio because as we are busy cleaning the studio with mopping floors, touchpoints cleaned and foggers will be used to spray the entire room before the next class. Please do not enter until invited in.
Upon entering, your temperature will be taken with a touchless thermometer. All entrants must be below 100.4 to enter.
Next, We will have sanitizer available For you to use upon entering the studio.
Next, we invite you in the Studio to remove your shoes and head to your space.
There will be spaces clearly labelled in the studio in-between clear dividers. All spaces have been measured and are 6-8 feet apart.
We ask that you bring a blanket from home to sit on as we will not be using any of our mats in the studio at this time. It is a dance studio so bare floors are hardwood.
4. Waiting in the Lobby:
No adults can wait in the lobby. This is to ensure we maintain proper occupancy levels in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
We will not be using the main lobby doors to enter and exit the studio. We will be using the side door located directly inside the studio. Signs will be posted to explain entrances and exits.
5. Please attend class with only one adult per child
We have reduced the number of attendees in all programs, 8-10 children with 1 adult each to comply with health department standards and classes have been slightly modified to maintain distancing.
6. Play and have Fun
We encourage you to allow your child to play and dance freely but gently guide them toward open unused areas of the studio in order to maintain distancing. We know this can be challenging...it won't be perfect. Just do your best; we are here to help.
We've stepped up our already stringent cleaning procedures with intensive cleaning at the end of the day, throughout the class as needed and in between classes.
We now have 20 minutes between classes to allow for time to clean the floors and touchpoints prior to the next class so we will be exiting the classroom immediately after each class to allow for cleaning.
All shareable instruments have been removed and in its place, we have individual music kits that are cleaned and sterilized for your child. We will continue to use the gathering drums but we have 1 per child.
There is a strict NO FOOD policy in the studio at all times. Water and bottles are allowed.
In order for us to maintain the appropriate class and program sizes, you must schedule (online, or email) all attendance prior to coming to Music class.
We can only schedule a makeup class if there is room as we can not go over the allowable number. If you cannot attend your class, kindly let us know so we may let someone else come in your place.
During Non Covid times we guarantee 1 makeup a semester and any further makeups if space allows. This Fall semester we will try our best to honor your 1 makeup and further makeups if possible. Please refer to the book outside the class for classes that are accepting makeups.
1 Makeup may roll over into the next semester but it can not be used towards tuition.
If you have questions or concerns after a class we will be using an app called BAND APP to address any and all questions before, during, and after class. Please download this app before classes begin and codes to join will be emailed out before your first class. IF YOU ARE NOT A PART OF THE BAND APP YOU WILL HAVE NO CLASS INFORMATION. You can send private messages or group class messages plus schedule makeups through the band app.
Can't wait to see you at Rockin Tots Music Class in the Fall!!
